Personal information is any information about you which can be used to identify you. This includes information about you as a person (such as name, address, and date of birth), your devices, payment details, and even information about how you use an app or online service.
This data protection declaration informs you, among other things, about the scope, purpose and legal basis of the processing of the personal data collected via the Scribble app. Personal data is all information that relates to a natural person, i.e. with which a natural person can be identified directly or indirectly, including but not limited to the name, email address, account number or IP address. Scribble does not provide an option to create an account therefore, we neither store nor have access to your entries and data.
All data gathered by the app are anonymized. No personal information is collected or shared at any time other than in cases specified below:
App download When the mobile app is downloaded, the information required for this is transferred to Apple Store, in particular your username, email address and customer number of your account, the time of the download, payment information and the individual device code. We have no influence on this data collection by the App Store and are not responsible for it. We only process this data as it is necessary for downloading the mobile app to your mobile device. Use of the app
In principle, no registration is required to use the app and the services we offer via it. When you use the mobile app on your device, we collect the personal data described below. This data is technically necessary to offer you the functions of our mobile app and to guarantee stability and security: • IP address • Date and time of the request • Content of the request (specific page) • Operating system
Communication Data
We may collect information when you contact us with questions or concerns and when you voluntarily respond to questionnaires, surveys, or requests for market research seeking your opinion and feedback. Providing this information is optional to you.
Social Media Data
We have pages on social media sites like Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn (“Social Media Pages”). When you interact with our Social Media Pages, we may collect Personal Data that you elect to provide to us, such as your contact details. In addition, the companies that host our Social Media Pages may provide us with aggregate information and analytics regarding the use of our Social Media Pages.
Additionally, when you encounter certain errors while using the app, we automatically collect data about the error and the circumstances surrounding its occurrence. This data may include technical details about your device, what you were trying to do when the error happened, and other technical information relating to the problem. You may or may not receive notice of such errors, even in the moment they occur, that they have occurred, or what the nature of the error is.
Please be aware that while this information may not be personally identifying by itself, it may be possible to combine it with other data to personally identify individual persons.
We process this data for the following purposes: • ensuring comfortable use of the app, • Guaranteeing and evaluating system security and stability
Scribble does not collect or process credit or debit card (“Payment Card”) data. Apple collects Payment Card data with respect to in-app purchases made through the Apps. Such payment processors generally provide us with some limited data related to you, such as a unique, anonymous token that enables you to make additional purchases using the data they’ve stored, and your card’s type, expiration date, billing address, and the last four digits of your card number.
